The 34th Annual Coats for Kids Radiothon Supports The Salvation Army
This past year 97.9 WJLB radio station hosted the 34th Annual Coats for Kids radiothon, benefiting The Salvation Army. The Detroit, Michigan based radio station hosts a radiothon encouraging listeners to donate money and collect coats for underprivileged kids in the Detroit Area. The Salvation Army collects new coats and cash donated on-site to be distributed to children in need. Special guests and artists perform during the radiothon. Waka Flaka Flame made a special appearance and donated $4,500 to the cause.
